Youth Programs

We Wai Kai Nation strives to provide the best wrap around programming for our youth as they are the ones who embody the promise of a brighter tomorrow, while being equipped with fresh perspectives and boundless energy. Our children and youth are the architects of our future, bearing the torch of hope and innovation.

As they grow, learn, and develop, they acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to address the challenges of today and advancements for tomorrow and for the next 7 generations.

We Wai Kai Nation provides a fun semi structural, safe environment for kids to drop in after school. The program includes a healthy after school snack, a wide variety of activities for our children and youth to participate in.

Throughout the year, we often do off reserve outings, these outing are on a registered basis.

Quinsam:

Youth group for ages 6-12

Location: 660 Headstart Cresent- the old Headstart building

Time: Monday- Friday Sept- June 2:30PM-6:00PM

Older Youth ages 12-17

Cape Mudge:

Youth group for ages 6-12

Location: at the Cape Mudge Learning Centre

Time: Monday-Friday Sept-June 2:30PM-6:00PM

Older Youth ages 12-17

Location: Cape Mudge Learning Centre

Time: Wednesday’s Sept-June 2:30PM-6:00PM
